Undulating visages of sinuous suppleness
Your mercurial formless forms mutates
outside of gravitational influences
Unaffected by normal space
you exist in planes of conscious fluidity
Not bound by temporal or spatial vectors
No affairs of causality or personality
Free from dualistic consternation
Your free form flows in the cosmic stream
You transport me in fluidic Mind
to a place of bliss without origin or reference
I slipstream though your pure consciousness
Infuse me with fluidic being
that the faces of the Cosmos may radiate though me.

I remembered my time in West Berlin and the impression of the Wall that has subsequently been taken down. I am not so sure that the real divisions of human beings are so easily removed. The wall was an idea -- self-centered dream that is the self.

In memory of the Berlin Wall

The wall stands and falls each day
The slow death of human arrogance raised
Blighted skyline of grey lifeless matter
scrawled with garish graffiti to hide dark thoughts inscribed with suffering

Cries for freedom muffled in concretions of effluvia
Children played as guard towers loomed
Protecting malignant ideals from malevolent excess
Only to punctuate the obvious departure of reason and compassion

East and West in divisive struggle
battle for supremacy over shadows
Memorials of long past wars
encased in old temples of blood and stone

Battle scars of human ruins that chronicle defeat and victory
Does victory exist without defeat?
Do victors that stand with feet on the throats of their defeated
only live to die another day with their foes looking down upon their overthrow?

Victory and defeat, death and life, oppressors and oppressed, liberators and the liberated,
all subjected to endless toil
Serpentine divisions slither through barren streets
that coil and recoil in the horrors of their own minds

The wall that came down
is forever inscribed on the landscape of human consciousness
The wall only exists in human minds
until freed from self-centered delusion

Where grey pall once dominated the night sky
The daylight illumines vestige horrific memory
New generations carry forward the ancestral genes
That are rooted in ancient battle cries.

Will we ever forget? Should we ever forget?
Being with horror and delight –life as it is
teaching liberating us from our selves
Compassion and loving kindness remains.

Dark and light majestic radiance, you rule over space-time

Above and below what?
Above and below me?
Me does not exist.

Where’s the point?
What’s the point?
Point of contact?
Point of view?
Point of reference? No point.
All points converging and emanating
in simultaneous synchronic sanctity as one

Were I standing on my head
which labial orifice would articulate my true bearing?
Am I playing both sides against the middle?
Sides? Middle? Center? In? Out?
As above so below.
I live in two worlds that are inseparably One.

Journey to the archaic arcane. Magic and mystery. Shamans, demons, angels and familiars all lie here. Sometimes raw, atavistic, juvenile and genuine . Sometimes jaundiced, joking and distorted. Masks reveal more than they hide. Identity is both fractured and featured. Put on your mask or try one of mine. When the play is over they all come off backstage.

Ascending Stairway

Ascending Stairway is a short series of a single photo that explores perspective and relationship of light and effects. Looking at the same thing in different ways allows the mind to be humbled and awed by the infinite possibilities of what we see, yet rarely notice. Stairways are a metaphor for ascension and growth. The light that falls from above does not reveal the source, but suggests that there just might be more light if we ascend… I guess I will have to look for myself. Why not join me? There is plenty of room in the light.
